Do you work or are you a student?
I'm a student at Henan Polytechnic University in JiaoZuo. I just finished my junior year and i am ready for my senior year.
What subject are you studying?
I'm studying for a Bachelor's degree and specializing in the field of Computer Science.
Why did you choose that subject?
I chose CS because i found it interesting that machines can also have the ability to think and even make decisions, I'm always full of the spirit of exploration about what I am curious about.
What would you like to do in the future?
I want to be an algorithm engineer, because i have an excellent foundation of mathematics and i am accustomed to establishing model for a specific problem and try to connect with its corresponding application in daily life.
What are the most popular subjects in China?
It's hard to say nowadays. You know, due to the globalization, our country is much more developed than ever. Students can choose the subjects they are really interested in, no longer as before, mandatory course only, so all of subjects are popular among specific parts of people.
Do you think it's important to choose a subject you like?
I think it's an essential point for us to make full consideration of the choice before we start to study. Because only if you evaluate your interest in this subject and the prospective of it, you would find it worth for you to carry on the process of learning and the profound research in your career later on.
Are you looking forward to working?
Well, i will consider an internship, because for me, the work experience can help me to transform the skills learned from the textbooks into action, so it can not only consolidate my knowledge but also practice my communication skills with others and furthermore, these will help me with the further study.
Do you prefer to study in the mornings or in the afternoons?
I prefer to study in the mornings because i am a self-discipline person. I wake up early in the morning and recite some English vocabulary. Then i will walk with my dog and hear some audio like BBC Learning English, this will arouse my whole day spirit.
Is your subject interesting to you?/Do you like your subject? Why?
Absolutely it attracted me a lot. I spent 2 days on the application form in order to learning CS in the university. And during my college time, i always show more curiosity on the new knowledge than others and get the high grades in major courses.
Is there any kind of technology you can use in study?
Of course, for me, the electronic devices like tablet and laptop are used by me the most frequently. Both of them are very helpful and can improve my efficiency in study. Laptop just like a synthetic tool box and the tablet is the abbreviated version of it. Comparatively, a laptop assembles most of the coding environment but tablet doesn't, on the other hand, a tablet own more convenience than a laptop.
